Transportation

ISB does not have established bus routes, BSD Transportation creates personalized bus routes for our students. Your student's bus routes will be emailed to you before classes begin. You can also view student bus route information through the E-Link App. 

Please review the information carefully.  Should your student's information be incorrect or incomplete (for example, missing pick up/drop off times), please fill out a new Transportation Request Form. The sooner we receive the request, the sooner we can fix the problem. Once school starts, it can take up to two weeks to modify your student's bus routes, until then you would need to provide your own transportation.

Also, please note that if you live within 1.5 miles of your home high school, your student will need to walk home from there.  This is called a ‘No Transportation Zone’ and is mandated by State Law.

 

HOW IT WORKS

IN THE MORNING … 
A bus will pick you up close to your home and take you to one of 2 Hubs (at ACMA and BASE) where you will board another bus or it will bring you directly to ISB.

IN THE AFTERNOON …
Shuttle buses leave ISB at 2:10 PM to your home High School. Once there, you will take another bus from your home high school to a stop near your home.

 

ISB does not have established bus routes.  BSD Transportation creates personalized bus routes for our students.  In the mornings, students are picked up from a stop near their homes and transported to one of two hubs (at ACMA or BASE) or directly to ISB.  In the afternoons, students are transported first to their home high school and from there they ride their high school's bus to a stop near their home.  Please note that if you live within a 1.5 mile radius of your home high school, your student will need to walk home from there.  This is called a "No Transportation Zone" and is mandated by State Law.

To request transportation service for your student for the first time, please fill out the form below and return it to the school's front office.  You can also use this form when your student's transportation needs change (such as after a move to a new address or when they start driving themselves to school).  There is no need to fill out the form each year as the service is set to continue from one year to the next.
