Options Application Process for 2025-26

Applications will be accepted starting Monday, October 14, 2024. All applicants must reside within the Beaverton School District boundaries or currently attend a Beaverton District school on an approved Inter-District Transfer.  Current BSD students will be able to apply online, beginning October 14, 2024 using their current student ID number.  Resident students not currently attending a Beaverton District school will also be able to apply online using the Non-BSD Student application.  Applications will be due no later than Friday, December 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. PST.  For more information, please contact the Learning Options Office at 503-356-4440.

 

Important Dates

  • October 14 - Applications available online (see link below for Common Application Process & Timeline)​. 
  • December 13 - Applications due by 3:00 p.m. PST.
  • December 18 - Lottery conducted.
  • December 20 - Letters emailed offering enrollment or notifying of wait-pool status.
  • December 20 - January 8 - Second Consideration applications to schools (please see below for ISB Second Consideration details).​
  • January 17 - Lottery Enrollment/Commitment to Enroll due by 12:00 p.m.  PST.

 

General Information for Applicants

Middle School Open Houses - (for current 5th-7th graders interested in ISB):

  • November 6, 2024 at 6:30 pm

  • November 12, 2024 at 6:30 pm

High School Open House - (for current 8th-9th graders interested in ISB):

  • November 19, 2024 at 6:30 pm

 

Second Consideration

Each learning option determines how it will use Second Consideration.  ISB's Second Consideration is for siblings of ISB students who are committed to enrolling at ISB the following school year.
